Ferry operators for Brač

The names confuse many visitors, so one point first: there are two separate Krilo companies. Kapetan Luka Krilo sails Split–Supetar. Krilo Shipping Company, which trades as Split Fast Ferries, runs the catamarans to Bol, Sutivan and Milna. The Kapetan Luka boats do not go to Bol, whatever the name on a booking page suggests.

Jadrolinija

The Croatian state ferry company runs the car ferries Split–Supetar (line 631) and Makarska–Sumartin (638), plus the catamarans to Bol (9603 all year, 659 from 17 August to 20 September). Tickets are sold only by Jadrolinija, at jadrolinija.hr, in the mJadrolinija app and at ticket offices; we do not sell them. See the timetable and prices.

Rules differ by line. On 631 the ticket is valid for one trip up to the printed date and there is no boarding guarantee; Jadrolinija advises arriving one to two hours early in summer. On 638 and the catamarans the ticket is for a fixed departure. Hand luggage up to 20 kg is free on the car ferry, and extra luggage costs €0.46 per 10 kg. Pets travel free on the car ferry. On the catamarans a small pet rides in a carrier of at most 45 × 35 × 25 cm and 8 kg in total, and the Bol line's price list charges half fare for a pet in a special box. Bicycles are not allowed on the catamarans. Cancelling within the validity period costs a 10 % fee.

Krilo (Kapetan Luka)

This is the fast catamaran from Split to Supetar, about 25 minutes, €10.00 all year. It also stops at Milna on its Hvar and Dubrovnik services. Tickets are sold online and through Direct Ferries as the e-ticket on your phone. There is a kiosk at Gat Sv. Duje in Split, open 06:00 to 20:00. Be at the boarding point at least 15 minutes ahead.

You may bring 10 kg of hand luggage plus a checked bag up to 23 kg. Small pets in carriers are allowed in designated areas, with dogs needing a lead and a muzzle. Changing a ticket at least 24 hours ahead costs 20 % of the price, cancelling 50 %. If bad weather stops a sailing you can rebook or get a refund.

Krilo Shipping Company (Split Fast Ferries)

KSC runs the seasonal catamaran Split–Bol–Jelsa (15 May to 30 September 2026, €25.00), the year-round state line 9601 Milna–Rogač–Split, and the summer boats to Sutivan and Milna. Luggage is one suitcase up to 20 kg plus a backpack. A pet in a box costs half the adult fare. Arrive 15 to 20 minutes before, and 30 minutes in peak weeks. Tickets are electronic with a QR code.

TP Line

TP Line sails the summer chain Split–Milna–Hvar–Korčula–Dubrovnik and calls at Milna on the way. It does not sail to Bol, Supetar or Sutivan. Luggage up to 20 kg, no bicycles, no vehicles, no reservations. A pet in a carrier (up to 8 kg) pays 50 %. A ticket can be refunded with 90 % returned if requested at least six hours before; a cancelled sailing is refunded in full. At Milna tickets are sold on board subject to availability, so use the web shop in July and August.

SNAV

The Italian company sails overnight from Ancona to Split, leaving Ancona at 19:30 and arriving in Split at 07:00. In 2027 the season runs from 12 April to 5 October, about three times a week. Split to Ancona leaves at 19:30 and arrives at 07:30. There is no ferry on this route between 5 October 2026 and 12 April 2027.
